The first speaker we are introducing is no stranger to Gogec! Returning for the 4th year, Dr. Tae Seok Moon, Tae Seok Moon, will be speaking about 'Systems and synthetic biology: constructing smart and programmable microbes and microbiota to address global problems'

Our next speaker to be featured at this year's Gogec is Dr. Jenny Molloy, Jenny Molloy, from the University of Cambridge who will be speaking about 'DNA Parts to Partnerships: how open source hardware and reagents accelerate synthetic biology in the global South'

Dr. Josh Atkinson, Josh Atkinson, from Princeton University will be speaking at this year's Gogec about 'Using Synthetic Biology to Engineer Living Electronics'

Our next featured speaker is Dr. Fayaz from the Manipal Institute of Technology who will be speaking about his lab's efforts towards understanding disease-causing mechanisms using systems and synthetic biology approaches

Dr. Mario Escobar from Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine will be joining us at Gogec this year to speak about 'Healing Hearts from Within: Harnessing Epigenetic Tools to Boost Mitochondrial Power'
