IA 1.3 - Year 3AP have had a busy week learning all about their community! We had some special visitors in today … we got to ask lots of questions and learned all about how the police help keep us safe! 👮🏻We also had lots of fun creating graphs practically using marshmallows.

Children in LRB1 (KS) have enjoyed mark making in and out of the classroom and using their throwing and catching skills in PE. Da iawn pawb! 😊

IA 2.2 - This week children in 5JP explored how to be safe online. They discussed different techniques to keep themselves and their friends safe online. They also designed a poster to bring awareness on how to remain safe on the internet. 💻

IA 1.1 - Children in Reception JE have started their new phonics programme Sounds Write. They worked really hard to read and write the words mat and sat – we are very proud! Nursery JE worked on their maths skills.

IA 2.2 -In Bridge class LW, children were asked what makes a good friend. They made friendship bracelets. They chose the colours and materials they wanted to use and also decided who they wanted to make the bracelet for.

IA 1.3 - Year 3AP have been learning all about recycling this week ♻️ We had so much fun creating junk models out of rubbish!! The children worked so hard on this & created some amazing models ✨😍

IA3.3 - Year 2 CE/NB had a wonderful trip to see the brand-new school site 🏫🚸. On the way, the children enjoyed spotting street names and house numbers on doors, which linked nicely to the Maths learning they’ve been doing this week.

IA 2.1 - The children in ❤️ 🌈 Nursery SJ ❤️ 🌈 have been enjoying our Wellbeing Mondays.They begin the day by sharing breakfast with friends and talking with their teachers about their weekend.

Year 4 LH/LN Recycling week ♻️ The children looked at the importance of recycling. They brought in their own recycling and enjoyed transforming it into something useful 😀

Children in LRB1 (KS) have enjoyed mark making, using the trim trail and completing lots of sensory activities together for the core word 'Want'. They loved our RISE session this week. Da iawn pawb! 😊

On Friday the children attended a signing workshop to help the communicate with the deaf community. They thoroughly enjoyed the session and were excellent at it ! 😎

IA 1.3 This week, the children in Nursery/Reception JE had a very exciting visit from the Fire Service. The children were full of curiosity and asked some fantastic questions while finding out all about the important equipment carried on the fire engine.

IA 1.3 - LRB 2 have been enjoying the outdoors this week. We have been exploring the forest school area, and went on an Autumn walk to Cyfarthfa Park to collect leaves, nuts and conkers to create our faces during art! 🍂🍃 🌳🍂

IA 1.3 - 🚒🔥 This week, the children in ❤️🌈Nursery S.J.🌈❤️ had a very exciting visit from the Fire Service as part of their ‘Me and My Community’ topic!

IA 2.1 - Year 2 enjoyed taking part in PE. The children used a variety of equipment to practise balancing, jumping, throwing and catching. They also enjoyed developing those skills further on the outdoor equipment in the junior yard.

Children in LRB1 (KS) were lucky last week as the fire brigade came in in their fire engine to showed children how they use the hose pipes.They even let the children have a go too! They also enjoyed making the most of the outdoors, classroom and our sensory room.Da iawn pawb!

Children in LH/LN enjoyed exploring the population of merthyr and how it has changed over time. Da iawn! 😊

IA 1.2 - This week Year 2 CE/NB have been busy learning all about their rights and responsibilities as important members of their school community! They’ve been talking about how their actions can affect others and how they can be positive role models every day.

IA 1.2 -🍞🐔 This week, Nursery SJ 🌈 have been enjoying the story ‘The Little Red Hen.’ Today, they became bakers just like the Little Red Hen herself! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳The children carefully followed each step of a bread recipe — mixing, kneading, and shaping their dough all by themselves.

Children in LRB1 (KS) have enjoyed playing in the outdoors, RISE therapy sessions and marking making with some amazing smiley faces  this week! Da iawn pawb! 😊
