In Zoroastrian astrology, Mars is generally referred to as “the demon Vahrām” (despite Vahrām being the name of a yazata). The planets are all considered demonic and are referred to as ‘abāxtarān’, i.e. ‘the backward ones’ (due to their retrograde). HOWEVER…
