At the ongoing #KSADPworkshop, Dr Mansur Muhtar, former IsDB Group Vice President, Country Programs, receives an Award of Excellence from Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA). Dr Nizar Zaied received on his behalf and Dr Muhtar responded virtually via Zoom.




Our mechanization support through the Kano Agro-Pastoral Development Project project is having a positive impact by creating jobs through the Private Service Provider (PSP) Model to empower communities and reduce labour-intensive tasks, leading to increased food production. #Agriculture #Mechanization


In Kano state, we are committed to fortifying the public agricultural extension system. We have trained 854 frontline extension agents in various aspects of the Value Chain & provided a fleet of 220 motorcycles & 380 tablets for efficient data collection. Funded by IsDB Group


Last week, our Country Director Dr Godwin Atser led Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA) Board Chairman, Dr Amit Roy and the Director, Strategic Partnerships, Dr Mel Oluoch on a working visit to projects sites in Kano state Nigeria.




Under the Kano Agro-Pastoral Development Project project funded by the IsDB Group & Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF), we are training field staff on Business Plan Development and Implementation. The trainees comprise 44 Commodity Association Traders/Trainers and 44 Lead Extension Agents in Kano State. 1/2


Under the Kano Agro-Pastoral Development Project project, funded by the IsDB Group & Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF), we are actively working to reduce post-harvest losses in cereal crops by distributing 210 units of 200 kg capacity hermetic storage drums to beneficiaries across the 44 LGAs of Kano state. 1/3
