3-star Ryan Staub played well against Utah 2 years ago and now he's balling out after replacing 4-star Kaidon Salter and 5-star Juju Lewis. Staub's loyalty as a 3rd stringer is being rewarded. He deserves this success.

Halftime thoughts: Alexander McPherson is everywhere when he's in the game and it's hard to believe he's a true freshman. He might need to start from now on. All 3 RB's are making things happen. Simeon Price always runs hard and it paid off on the TD. Ryan Staub is fearless.

24 years later and Nebraska football still hasn't recovered. Just remember Husker fans, Colorado did this to you. We ended your 40-year run of dominance and now you've lost your 28th game in a row vs a ranked team. Michigan 30, Nebraska 27 - in Lincoln. Drive home safely! 😎

Halftime thoughts: Kaidon Salter has been more accurate tonight, just needs to throw the ball away on broken plays & avoid losses. Sincere Brown with another deep ball TD. You can't teach that kind of size and speed. Defense is tackling better tonight. Entire team is hungry.

17-point win. 37 points in the final 3 quarters. 6.2 yards per rush. 497 yards of offense. Salter was 18/28 passing, 3 TD, 0 INT and he added a 35-yard rushing TD. Lots of positives to take from this game. I hope the injury situation isn't as bad as it seemed.

4-star DT Emanuel Ruffin had offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Miami, LSU and Georgia. He's from Bessemer, AL which is also the home town of Bo Jackson. Huge get for the Buffs! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

WR Christian Ward is 6-3 185 and had offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Arizona State. Another great IMG player heading to Colorado and a huge get for the Buffs! 🦬

Halftime: Total yards are dead even at 188 each but Colorado outgained BYU on the ground 128 to 79 👀 Colorado's play calling the first 2 drives was great but the momentum has shifted to BYU. Can the Buffs get the momentum back?

Colorado's turnover margin the last 4 games: -2 vs Houston -1 vs Wyoming -1 vs BYU -4 vs TCU How different is this season if the Buffs just took care of the ball?

GoBuffs (@gobuffs3) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Colorado running the ball on 3rd and 3 and getting the 1st down and then running the ball for an 8-yard TD warms my Buff heart. The CU offensive line is the most improved unit on this year's team.

There's wide open and then there's WIDE OPEN. Easiest TD of the year for Colorado. Omarion Miller again, so happy for him this year. Great talent, great person, stuck with the program, and deserves this success.

HUGE stop on 4th down by the Colorado front 7. They pushed the Iowa State offensive line backwards. Buffs take over in the Cyclone red zone and get 3 points. The physical play by the Buffs on both lines of scrimmage has been impressive today.

Colorado beat a ranked Iowa State team and showed a lot of physicality today. The Buffs also had NO TURNOVERS. Finally. 🦬🦬🦬🦬🦬
