I don't know who Sidd_Finch is, but if any news site is claiming they had it "FIRST!", they are lying. Sidd_Finch was talking about this hire being a done deal all morning before the news came out.

So Oregon State Baseball went on the road and swept a good Cal team. Beavers have won 17 straight series and are now 79-8 in their last 87 games. Ho hum. (They just keep on trucking without Nick Madrigal - only the best player in the country. That team is ridiculous.)

How hot were these tickets in Corvallis tonight? They ran out of tickets for scouts; I was talking with a scout who was forced to buy two tickets on StubHub, for about 160 bucks total.
