In the spirit of many others offering up Black Friday stories: 4/15/11 forced me to decide between moving abroad to play high stakes heads-up online, play live, or quit. After almost quitting (for the 100th time), I chose live poker and moved to LA. It worked out pretty well.

Another special night @EDC. I realized music festivals and poker have much in common: Both are activities that have brought me so much joy, responsible for some of my most memorable days. I will always ❤️ both even if I’ll only be partaking sporadically moving forward. #dadlife

This week, 2 stars in Doug Polk (Code Doug) & Tom Dwan learned why I never trusted anything Feldman said. He has his own agenda and is willing to do/say anything necessary to execute it. Helpful when you are of use to him, brutal otherwise. No one will step on his toes given his power.

I’ve played more hours with Brian Kim than almost anyone, mostly in tough, shorthanded, HS cash games. No one consistently gave me more trouble and it’s not particularly close. Being a psychotic competitor, I never much cared for him. But I was cheering hard for him today. Gg BK

When I moved to LA in 2012, I used to wake up at 7pm before grinding the shorthanded, overnight Commerce games. Now I’m in bed soon after then to be up by 6AM w/ my daughter before grinding away at my new ventures (I’ll announce in due time). Life comes at you way too damn fast!
