A big thank you again to Cheltenham Lido for hosting a fantastic sun awareness event. Our brilliant dermatology team completed over 130 skin checks and handed out stacks of vitally important awareness information to staff and public last week 🌞

We've had some fantastic awareness events lately; most recently, our brilliant lung cancer specialist nurses and support workers raised hundreds of pounds for Mesothelioma org.uk and our Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospital Charity by holding a bake sale. All whilst raising awareness of mesothelioma. ❤❤❤.

It's always a pleasure to attend a SWAG CSW Community of Practise. We received some excellent training on primary care cancer updates, plus andrology and sex and intimacy support for cancer patients too! We continue to grow our skillset and expertise ❤👍

Thank you to Longfield Hospice for hosting us for a service taster session yesterday. It was really inspiring to hear about how you support patients and their loved ones. We also learnt a thing or two about how we can look after ourselves as professionals as well ❤

GHT has started phase one of a pilot to refresh our approach on HNA's. It's a simple tool for cancer patients to start a conversation with a support worker, and we're really hoping we can develop this form to be as good as it can possibly be, and make it truly co-produced.

The skin cancer team at GHT have done it again. Another hugely successful sun awareness event, this time at Lakefest. Over 500 festival goers were seen by the team for skin checks, information and awareness on all things skin cancer. A big thanks to everyone involved.
