We went to Y Teulu Teg’s Lunar New Year event this evening! Learnt so much about East Asian Culture and saw so much talent on stage! 🧧🧧❤️🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We had a lovely meet-up today. The awesome Shrouk El-Attar, MEng, MIET (She/They) 🏳️‍🌈 and Nadia hosted a workshop about story telling, particularly highlighting the experiences of queer asylum seekers and refugees. ❤️🏳️‍⚧️🌈

Aryam Marafi is an aroace Muslim woman and medical student. She is a refugee from Kuwait & an award-winning activist. She raised awareness of a range of topics including domestic violence and aims to increase visibility of queer Muslims & queer Arabs.
