The cross country team enjoyed their first quarry run of the new term. Training has begun in earnest for the Scottish Islands Peaks Race, beginning next month. The team were later joined by Mr Haworth, the father of one of our Third Formers.

The highly anticipated annual OGCC (Old Glenalmond Cricket Club) match against Coll's XI team returns, on Sunday 9 June at 1.30pm. The Coll community is encouraged to come and support the teams as they go head to head.

Pupils enjoyed sailing on Loch Earn for the first sail of the season. Light winds provided a gentle start, and provided favourable conditions for pupils to practise their capsize drill at the end of the session.

Our Lower Sixth pupils recently attended an interesting organic chemistry workshop at Heriot-Watt University learning about synthesising and characterising ester. They also received an introduction to spectroscopy techniques.
