We need properly funded trans healthcare based on an informed consent model as part of a one-tier National Health Service.

Claiming a required standard/quality of evidence and failing to meet that standard yourself is an issue of research integrity.

Researchers are supposed to be consistent in our standards/critiques of study limitations, not apply them only to the studies that challenge us.

Academics and clinicians are NOT immune to bias and research does not exist in a vacuum.

It would be foolish to pretend that Cass is simply reporting some objective fact. Personal views and opinions can and do influence decisions made in the research process.

It is perfectly legitimate (and responsible) for clinicians and researchers to refuse to collaborate with research which they feel is ethically and methodologically flawed. It’s called research integrity! #CassReview
