Deep thought du jour: Back in 2020/21 I was fascinated by ARKK and the kind of mania-buying that lead it to peek and then crash well before the S&P 500 followed a similar (but muted) pattern. ARKK was very much "canary in the coal mine" warning for what was coming more broadly.

I’ve been struggling w what is bothering me so much abt the immense lending to data center builds & why/where there’s a problem w capital under & over allocation. THIS just brought it into focus for me - mortgage market is being indirectly starved b/c lending flows to highest &

+2 1/2% to -1 1/2% - on no actual news. Yep, that's a healthy market if I've ever seen one. (referring to Nasdaq, obvi)

Oh, and the canary in the coal mine, MSTR, continues to wither.

Wow, seeing this statistically is amazing. I know it to be true anecdotally by experience- but I like proof that it’s not in my head.
