A4: It's not easy, but we need to do a better job doing what we ask teachers to do with students...differentiate for different learners. The team of instructional coaches in my former building did a great job of trying to offer choices during PD for this very reason. #MEMSPAchat
A3: With a mirror... Reflecting on why...Was it really what they needed? Did the learning need to be scaffolded? ASK THEM for feedback, reflect and try again. #MEMSPAchat
A2: When learning sticks, it comes with positive energy and becomes visible in our classrooms and in our school. #MEMSPAchat
A1: After PD, I hope participants learned something they can apply to their own work, something that challenges them to reflect and motivates them to want to share the learning with others - because we learn when we teach and positive energy is contagious! #MEMSPAchat
Kimberly from MEMSPA + 'rewired' elementary principal. The best PD I've had recently was MEMSPA's Middle Level Rumbles with Joe Sanfelippo and Thomas C. Murray. The room was full of POSITIVE energy!
I'm looking forward to hosting #MEMSPAchat tonight at 8pm ET! Join us to talk about designing professional learning with the 4 PLC questions in mind! #BetterTogether #WeLeadMI
