At Penwith College, Derek Thomas showed me all the apprenticeship opportunities available because of the Conservatives’ skills revolution.

In St Ives alone, there have been nearly 8,000 apprenticeship starts since 2010 - helping more people get high quality local jobs.

One of the many thousands of parents benefitting from the @conservatives’ childcare expansion is Connor Donnithorne 〓〓, who showed me around @naturallylearning in Truro.

This rollout is helping parents like Connor not only to grow their families, but their careers too.

In 2019, we committed to delivering 20 Institutes of Technology across this Parliament.

So far, we've delivered 19, with 2 more opening from September, exceeding our pledge.

It was brilliant to see the incredible work going on in the South West Institute of Technology - SWIoT with Cherilyn Mackrory MP.

I was honoured to be invited by Truro&PenwithCollege and Scott Mann MP to open the new STEM centre in Bodmin.

From health and engineering to manufacturing and digital, whatever young people in Bodmin want to do, this centre will help them get the local opportunities they deserve.
