With 40% of all Maternal deaths attributed to death by suicide and a x3 increase in 2020 compared to 2017, this is a hugely important document of women with lived experience of suicidal ideation. Please read and share. We must and can do more.

This is 100% true BUT as someone with boots on the ground, I can say that even a positive workplace culture can't guarantee safety when your unit is running with half the necessary staff. The maternity crisis is a complex problem of both numbers and values. (thread)
