On the 9th of May we celebrate #EuropeDay. That is why we are organizing an afternoon full of entertainment in the context of Europe for young people. This on the Saturday before under the city hall in Ghent. Be there and participate in our quiz! #EYC2024

Today is #EuropeDay. Because we're early birds we already celebrated this on Saturday under the City Pavillion. Lots of European youngsters visited us. We challenged them and tested their knowledge! Many Europe rubber ducks were won! #eyc2024 #wearethecity

Mental health is one of our main priorities for #EYC2024 and something we already like to draw attention to in the #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek

This week our Ghent project support service for young people with ideas, named "Alles Kan", launched an open call for creative youngsters who want to go on exchange to Albania (#EYC2022). There they can share inspiration and experience with other young creatives #eyc2024

Last friday our EYC-Youth Ambassador Youness, Sphinx Cinema, Film Fest Gent and CUT TO: Gent talked to high school students about ideas on how to develop their cultural talents. Many inspiring ideas emerged! #eyc2024

From 5 to 14 September, 10 young people from Ghent visited the beautiful Tirana EYC 2022, the 2022 EYC. They collaborated with Albanian youth on various projects in the fields of digital art and music. Thanks for having us and for letting our youth inspire eachother! European Youth Forum

Last weekend, a delegation from Ghent EYC visited the LevelUp! event from European Youth Forum together with deputy mayor Hafsa El-Bazioui 🌿. We participated in several workshops about youth activism, in the fields of advocacy, organizing and communication and connected with other Europeans.
