A simple Friday #Statatip: If you are generating variables based on a lot of conditions, then rather than specifying a huge list (x==1 | x==2 | x==5 etc.) you can use: gen y = 1 if inrange(x,1,10) // for ranges gen y = 1 if inlist(x,1,2,5) // for specific values #TGIF
