We want accountability of perpetrators, not having to keep leaving. We need perpetrators to change so we're safe not throwing money at victims to change

Reading about the $5000 women will be entitled to if leaving a violent relationship… seriously, who thinks $5000 is enough to allow a woman and her children to relocate into an available and safe rental? Are they supposed to sleep on the floor and eat air? 🤦🏼 NOT ENOUGH.
