General Brown was joined by @WashingtonPost national security writer and current Georgetown Institute of Politics & Public Service fellow Dan Lamothe. For more than 15 years, Lamothe has covered the armed forces for the Post, Foreign Policy magazine and the Military Times newspaper chain.
On Thursday, General Charles Q. Brown, Jr., Chairman of The Joint Staff 🇺🇸, visited campus to discuss the relationship between the military & civilian spheres. General CQ Brown, Jr. serves as the principal military advisor to President Biden, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and the National Security Council.
Now that it's web-official, I'm delighted to share that I'm joining GU Security Studies and Georgetown SFS as an assistant professor this fall. I'll miss my wonderful colleagues and students at Brandeis, but am thrilled for this next chapter. Hoya Saxa!
