Meaningful day speaking at the Empower 2 Recover Foundation's Recovery Conference in #Timmins .

I appreciated hearing the stories of recovery and seeing the countless local organizations who are helping heal our community. Thanks to everyone who came out to this important event.

Grateful to meet with residents affected by the fire 3 weeks ago. I also had a chance to speak to the incredible CDSSAB team who are finding housing, feeding residents and making sure they have everything they need.

In tough times people in #Timmins always come together.

#ICYMI Chief Achneepineskum, Chief Wabasse & Minister Pirie signed an agreement to collaborate on community infrastructure development projects which would support future economic development opportunities.
We are one step closer to building all-season roads in the #RingOfFire .

On #VimyRidgeDay , we remember the Canadians who fought and gave their lives during the four-day Battle of Vimy Ridge. Nearly 3,600 Canadians were killed and over 7,000 more were wounded. Today, we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who fought at Vimy Ridge. Lest we forget.
