I think if you’ve been wrong for 40 years it’s wise to ask yourself what you missed.

Mechanically, how has the US government “debased the currency” in the last 2 years? They’re spending currency that already exists, not adding new supply. Unless you want to argue new treasuries are effectively new currency. But then you have to argue QE is only an asset swap.
