Science is a catalyst for change in #OneHealth. Food and Agriculture Organization had the privilege of attending the International Conference of Spatial Epidemiology, Geostatistics, and GIS for #animalhealth, public health and #foodsafety. Together, we're advancing global well-being through GeoVet science.

Last week, with FAO Livestock and other stakeholders, we agreed to identify the needs and priorities for GeoVet science, and build capacity to facilitate its integration into #OneHealth policies. This will improve data availability and data sharing among others.

#GeoVet2023, a resounding success! 5 Keynotes, 8 senior talks, 43 presentations & 50 posters. Deep gratitude to all participants for elevating the scientific content & fostering collaboration. Here's to stronger ties with FAO, UNEP, WHO, & WOAH. Onward to a unified One Health!
