Another step forward with my string material. I have made the fit a bit tighter so it appears less 'holey' and I have added a clip system to the edges so that they can be clipped together. It is definitely acting like a material now😊 Sound On!

This is done. All the injection molded parts from any of the Build Boxes can now be 3D printed for free. You can find it on each individual box QR code landing page where the box's physics lesson is hosted. Thanks for the suggestion!
