Your middle schooler doesn't need "sport specific" training with a private trainer. They need to stop playing that sport year round, eat real food, sleep well, and become a better athlete through strength and speed training.

OL was dominant last night! James Dykes led the way with 9 pancakes. 𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙂𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙨 | 2025 had 7 and Kimbal Sweeney had 5! 27 team pancakes on 51 plays. Physicality wins games and my guys up front got the job done!!

We’ve reached such a sad place in youth sports. (No names) In the past 36 hours I’ve had 4 separate conversations w/parents of athletes. 3 of them about their club coaches (2different sports) telling them they need to specialize if they want a college scholarship. (Continued)👇

Numerous parents/players are telling me their 14u kid needs to travel all over the country to be seen by college coaches! Yes at the 14u level, sorry parents and players you have no idea what you are talking about, but enjoy the vacation!

Talked to a MLB Pitcher this weekend. He said he shuts down from throwing for 2 months b/c arm needs a break. He has never had an arm issue in his career. He said youth baseball players including H.S. players should take 3 months off and play another sport & be an athlete!

Parents: I have a question- What good comes out of you drinking at your child's competitive events? We see parents every weekend tailgating at tournaments & drinking at the field. Those people are that selfish or have that big of a problem that they can't wait to get back home

Ever wonder why young pitchers are blowing out shoulders and elbows??? Because they spend all their time pitching instead of preparing to pitch... #LTAD

We've got a youth sport crisis. 70% of kids quit sports by 13. 64% experience high levels of fear of failure. 60% report overwhelming pressure to perform Adults need to stop ruining sports. My manifesto on youth sports for parents and coaches. Link below.
