ACC vs FSU - they have until Tuesday to meet, confer, and therefore file a joint status report for the appeal. If no agreement, 1000 words due to set out positions.

I don't know if it is a pool of new money outside the existing contract ot added to.

FOX is the majority owner of Big Ten media rights, which is different than other conferences. The rights are with BTN and leased out.

CBS, NBC, are now legacy and can request pay/first access

J-willz aka jeff 😤🍢🍢 Big Ten information. College football fan It is just a docket entry scheduling a mediation conference. In SC it is mandatory for all civil cases. And no actual date set yet (that I could see). Will happen later on, and doesn’t mean much.

UNC would get beat on the regular in football, IMO. They would have to become a football school to compete at the highest levels in the SEC.

UNC football leaves a lot of 'that is it?' type of history. FSU you can talk for days with their football history.

It all depends on how it would be structured. For example, OR was said to be half share....now after CFP half share added it will be roughly $55M/yr because of the future based draw.

FOX has FSU approved for full share fwiw

I have done two live conversations in the last year on YouTube. Last summer I had about 5k live viewers and dozens thousands upon thousands of video views.

I always respectfully turn down appearances.

I prefer free engagement on X

New state, flagship, good Olympic sports, top research school, engaged fanbase, research triangle, brand expansion.

Those are the main things.

Big Ten wants eastern seaboard expansion. Have ever since they tried the kill shot at the ACC. That is what led to the ACC GOR issues we see in the courts today.

A lot of Big Ten alumni live in ACC country.

It would only be an emotions based move, not a sound monetary, strategic, or even a smart idea for A&M.

A&M was able to move closer to Texas in money, etc, with the SEC move. A&M with Texas in the SEC is better for both than singularly conf association.

Big Ten does in order to complete a national footprint. Getting into the Southeast completes it besides not being in Texas.

SEC would prefer to stay at 16 but they will not pass up the chance to get UNC if they can get them.

Could. You can't rule it out. Most likely right now is FSU gets a settlement this summer, Clemson this fall, and then what comes next is where the focus should be now, IMO.

Doubt it. There are big changes coming to college athletics with a new division etc where the P2 will live.

Finebaum isn't wrong per say, but the likelihood is a single digit percent chance right now.
