If I had to pick my favourite seaside building it would have to be this ‘The Arcadia’ in Scarborough. It originally opened as Kiralfy's Arcadia Theatre in 1903 before changing its name to Catlin's Arcadia. Sadly it was demolished in 1920.

I came upon this view on Wikimedia of the bus stop along Black Moor Road, in Oxenhope. Is it Yorkshire's best or do you know one with a better view or where the bus shelter is especially interesting? If you do why not share it. Image: Cameron Butler / CC BY-SA 4.0

Absolutely delighted to have been commissioned to research and write a series of pieces which touch on some fascinating and sensitive areas and are also allowing me to help tell some amazingly inspiring stories. Sometimes I feel so privileged.

The Laurel Inn at Robin Hood's Bay is really a tale of two builds, one early C18 to the east and early-mid C19 to the west. It must have been captured in so many images.
