We are under way at the ILD-IN 2025 conference! The committee are here to welcome and support you throughout the conference, please come and say hello!

Our first talk has been delivered by none other than Dr Nazia Chaudhuri. Nazia has spoken about the ongoing successes and challenges of the ILD Registry.

Hannah Long has delivered our second talk of the day. A highly enlightening discussion around integrated care in ILD, with a great video highlighting the patient perspective of integrated care and the benefits it brings to our service users.

Our second session of the day is up and running. We have committee members Doria and Katie chairing the session. Maria Kokosi is informing our delegates of the latest advances and innovations in the world of ILD. New pharmaceutical approaches are the order of the day!

Next up in our afternoon session, its Dr Stefan Stanel. Dr Stanel is discussing the role of genetics in ILD. Familial ILD is often poorly understood or overlooked, how can we improve our understanding and awareness?

Abstract presentations are underway. So far Dr Laura White has presented on mortality rates in ILD admissions and Dr Chowdhury has presented on the implications of inherited childhood ILD within the Indian population.

The team from WWL NHS trust have sparked great debate with their abstract on high flow nasal oxygen! We're finishing with Emily Scott who is presenting an abstract looking at liver impairment in ILD patients using Nintedanib. Well done to all our presenters in this session!

This year we've introduced the round table! Our delegates have been locked in discussion regarding key ILD themes. Building the ideal MDT, Preparing for progress and Designing the ILD Service of the the future are the hot topics up for deliberation.

Day 2 is underway at ILD-IN conference 2025! We are in conversation with Andy Bright from APF and Dr Amit Adalaka regarding lung transplant from life pre transplant through to post transplant.

Our second talk this morning is being delivered by Dr Sabrina Bajwah. Dr Bajwah is discussing the role of palliative care in ILD, with an interesting focus on how culture and background can impact palliative care from both a clinician and patient perspective.

Our next session is underway. Firstly, we have Rasleen Kahai delivering a talk on Dietetic Interventions in ILD Management. An overlooked component of the ILD MDT?

Closing out conference are Josh Burrough and Terri Collier, presenting on the workings of the HOSAR, oxygen therapy and current challenges. Dr Conal Hayton delivers our final talk with a focus on ILA - how should we be following up on this patient cohort?
