Two weeks ago, KU Leuven inaugurated the newest Tier-2 cluster during their VSC | Vlaams Supercomputer Centrum user event. HPC staff and researchers got the opportunity to visit the data centre, attend a poster session, workshops, and check out the new machine🖥⚡#hpc #supercomputing #data #dataAnalytics

The cluster consists of 177 compute nodes with the latest generation of Intel Icelake CPUs 🤓. 5 of these nodes have 2 TB of RAM to deal with very large data 💿sets . And there are 4 nodes with each 4 NVIDIA A100 GPUs as well as 5 interactive nodes for data analytics 📊
