A few weeks ago my team played in Bettendorf Iowa and I came back strong from a shoulder injury with a triple, double, and some great plays in the field! I can’t wait for my next chapter with high school softball to begin!

I had a wonderful night at high school JV softball awards night tonight! I received multiple awards; the scholar athlete award, best offensive player award, and minor “G” award! I am so thankful for all of my coaches and teammates and i look forward to next year.

I had a great start to the weekend today, with multiple singles and a few doubles. I hit in the tying runs in our second game and had an RBI in the first game. I can’t wait for the rest of the weekend!

Bracket play did not go the way we wanted, but positive notes for the weekend were bats woke up this weekend, multiple runners were caught stealing, and pitching demonstrated grit. Below are some stats for the weekend:

Overall did well in pool play today. Pitcher duels in both games! Gera’s bat was on fire today with a single, double & triple! Won first game 1-0 against cheetahs 14u Simmons. Lost to finesse 14u Complete 3-1.

My team made it into the gold bracket, and we won our first bracket play game yesterday. We play this morning at 9:45, and I can’t wait! Thank you LP4U for a great tournament so far!

What a week at the USSSA 14u nationals in Peoria taking 2nd place! Girls fought hard through heat and made memories along the way. Hailey and Piper received offensive and defensive MVP from tourney officials. Thank-you to the families for your support this season!

This week, I had my first varsity flag football games. In the first game, I scored the first official Varsity touchdown. In the second game, I finished with 14 flag pulls on defense. I am looking forward to the rest of the season!

On August 20, I hit a new PR of 60 mph overhand velocity, increasing 7 mph from my last measurement in June. I am looking forward to continuing my training with Coach Ernie!
