We were out in the Market today speaking with residents about our upcoming Tackling Substance Use Programme which was co-created by MDA, residents & Queen's Communities and Place (QCAP)

The programme will equip our community with the tools and information to better understand substance use issues.

SSESW was delighted to work in partnership with Praxis Care and, supported by the HSC R&D Division, to host this conference. The programme included a lecture by SSESW's Gavin Davidson on Complex Needs, Human Rights And Social Justice.

Recently provided professional development training for school counsellors and school leaders in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. What a privilege to represent Queen's University Belfast 🎓 and SSESW at Queen's and to work with such engaged and enthusiastic practitioners in India.

A priority to come out of our health group with the MDA was addressing substance use & addiction, following on from the Naloxone training before Xmas we are holding a series of conversations with Market residents to tackle these issues, facilitated by experts from QUB & Extern📢
