Web devs, where I work, we have an open program for freelance teachers. If you have the time, you can actually make quite a bit by putting in 2 - 3 hours a day. I have seen people bill close to 1L or so a month by doing this. DM me for details. RT? #freelance #remotework

Biggest disadvantage of coming from a no name college is the lack of enthusiasm in your peers. You're conditioned to think small. It weighs folks down over time. There are outliers. But the average of “what I can achieve” is low. Thats the core value-add of tier 1 colleges.

Posted a bunch of 'Are you Long/Short X?' polls on insta to gauge how people feel about some of the futuristic technologies being built today. It'd be interesting to know what Twitter thinks too, so here goes. A thread of Long/Short polls

The first truth about building learning-tech is that CBC, PBL, Online, Offline, Hybrid, Self-paced, Peer-based, Gurukul, Web3 don’t matter. What matters is the outcome & how meaningful it is for the learner. The edtech conversation needs to be about function, not form.

Excited to release the 1st Indus Valley Annual Report to the world. Indus Valley = our moniker for India's startup ecosystem. The 1st issue gives us a chance to take stock of its rise and evolution, take a look back at 2021 & finally look ahead to what is coming. Amal Vats

My cousin has a CS exam tomorrow and he's spent the last 3 days by hearting lines of code in C++ like a maths table. Every comma, semi colon, even variable names need to be the same coz the Prof does not give marks for solutions that he's not given. Colleges are NGMI

As you become an adult, you realize that things around you weren't just always there; people made them happen. But only recently have I started to internalize how much tenacity *everything* requires. That hotel, that park, that railway. The world is a museum of passion projects.

India's potential as a global leader relies on mobilizing & upskilling its vast population through an equitable & scalable skilling model. The Indus Valley Report by Sajith Pai highlights that ~120 crore Indians, often considered "un-monetisable" earn ~$1.5K per capita annually.
