Coaching is weird. Cause the things that make you get a promotion don't really correlate to the position you get. Like being a good position coach doesn't mean you can call plays, being a good play caller doesn't mean you can manage a team as a head coach.

Kids shouldn’t be looking for support/feedback from parents during games. When it’s not necessary for them to look for parents in the stands to get validation, it shows their confidence level is improving. Encourage them to rely on themselves & focus on competing & being present.
