CHAT TV, my home for five and a half years, has shut down today after close to 70 years. I’m heartbroken, devastated and furious. So many talented people have lost their jobs, as well as a community relying on journalists telling their stories. Medicine Hat deserves better.

CHAT TV was my first gig right out of my second go around of post-secondary. They took a chance on me when I was at a crossroads in my working career, and I attribute where I am today to the start I got there. Thinking of the amazing people who kept the station going.
