I often hear people say growing old can be cruel, and I absolutely agree for some it can be. For me I am sincerely grateful that at 50 years old I can continue to enjoy what enjoyed at 18 thanks to a kidney transplant. I value every day and love life 😍

I honestly thought my transplanted kidney was failing this week. Bloods taken at my GPs last week gave me a rather big shock I’m so so grateful to everyone who is involved in my care. On WorldKidney Day I salute every one of you. (Thankfully it was just a blip! ) #WorldKidneyDay

I cried!!!!!! I defy anyone to say that this isn’t inspirational!!! Today me and my Husband took the bus with the friendliest, most helpful, patient driver who has waited his whole life to do this !! Follow your dreams son! So proud!

My 18 year old son has only ever wanted to be a bus driver. Yesterday his dreams became reality. Alfie tried so hard at school but never found the experience positive. Despite that he worked hard, never gave up and now has fulfilled his dream. #proudparent #happyson
