It was a wonderful weekend in Warman and region starting with travelling around the world at Folkfest in Saskatoon, BMX Canada Cup in Warman, Prairie Pro Wrestling , “Rock 102 - Show & Shine” followed by watching the Riders beat the Lions. What a catch by Samuel Emilus – WOW!!!

Mayor Gary Philipchuk signed a proclamation at City Hall today recognizing the week of September 18-24 as “Rail Safety Week” in Warman. Mayor Philipchuk was joined by Cst. Shayn Olsen from Canadian National as well as Warman Fire Rescue Chief Russ Austin & City Manager Bob Smith. (cont.)

This proclamation reaffirms the City of Warman’s commitment to rail safety and the prevention of injuries or fatalities. It’s no secret the prevalence and importance of rail traffic throughout Warman’s history. Rail safety has always been a key part of this. (cont.)
