1 in 7 Canadian youth are unemployed. It’s more than just lost wages, our young people’s careers are behind in addition to their morale & consequently their mental health being way down. If conditions don’t improve, this will be immensely expensive to our country in many ways.

After President Trump’s latest salvo, we are offering to recall the Standing Committee on International Trade so that Canadians, trade-exposed industries, and Parliamentarians can helpfully contribute to the negotiating process and work towards the best deal for Canada 🇨🇦.

Conservatives are ready to work this summer, and Parliamentary Committees have an important role to play in responding to tariff threats. Let’s get to work!
