Blowy but dry in Port of Dover today where I saw the port in action and officially opened the brand-new marina - a thriving new hub for the city, right on the waterfront. It was great to also meet the fabulous charity Geoff Holt MBE who work to ensure everyone can access the water.
As an island nation, maritime is integral to growing the UK’s economy. A pleasure to attend #SingaporeMaritimeWeek & #SeaAsia2023, working with international partners to do this in a cleaner, greener way. Great discussions too with PSA Singapore MPA Singapore and many others.

Almost 7,000 members of the Armed Forces will spend Christmas Day serving their country overseas. Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin 🇬🇧 has thanked those spending Christmas away from their loved-ones and paid tribute to the success and service of the Armed Forces in 2023.
