America to the world: to be truly sovereign – that is, own and benefit from your resources – build a strong military. Everything else – international law, borders, UN – is vibes & well-wishes. True sovereignty is in your armed forces, weaponry. Venezuela is latest victim.

The use of Bor Town here instead of Bilpham or Malual-Chaat is offensive. As a patriot, one can’t gloat about routing the national army in one sentence and weep about ethnic cleansing in the next when the said army hits back. Being a minority, it is unwise to be inflammatory.

Today the soldiers that were brought to Bor Town allegedly to pursue the “rebel red belt” beat a group of hunters to near death under threats of shooting. They could easily have shot them as they did to another who was injured. It’s not about tribes, it’s about systems.

One thing that is undeniable about the politics of South Sudan is the lack of organization and strategy. Whether it is govt or rebels, they are all not organized. But when a rebellion is necessary, why does it matter who’s carrying it out?

If I hear that “Nuer” is in Kadiang, I’ll take my people out of Bor Town and everyone should do the same. This time, it should reach Juba, where the “throne” is.

It's true and imminent! A weak jonglei state is important for the kleptocracy! Bor bares the brunt of decisions made by warrap! It's not riek that pulling the strings!

| Garang Kuot | This is painful man. who in his right man with kill a young boy? I think these kind of things are adding fuel to the already burning flames in the hearts of the people, especially the young men and women in Bor who may end up revolting against this government and the army.

| Garang Kuot | I didn’t let this take slide because it echoes 1991 and I’ve seen this movie before. Basically, create a localized anarchy and terrorize civilians who are unaware you’re at war with them. And then turn around and push it as an event of national importance, ‘we liberated y’all’

Wuro 2 We don’t have monolithic alignments, they play both sides. There are Dinka in opposition and Nuer in the government. The Dinka are native to 7 of the 10 states. And Nuer are native to 3. They’re intermixed all over the place.
