Why don't they release XP from the portal again to attract more players, or put the map rotation and server list right away so they don't go back to the menu at each end of the game because that's already boring, the same map drops 3 times in a row.

Potteras Further work on animations will be done yes, from a 1st person but also 3rd person perspective. Expect some changes to happen over the course of multiple future patches. We clearly identified that there is a lot of improvements we can do there that will bring more quality.
