There is a chance the new Utah NHL team will have no name for a year. Just be called Utah Hockey Club because there is not enough time to do it all. So they may wait and do it right.

The new Utah team did ask for the Roadrunners to be the affiliate and Alex Meruelo accepted so yes they will be the affiliate from what I have heard.

Lots of negotiations that I am hearing will begin soon but there is a chance the Tucson Roadrunners will play some games in Tucson and some at the Mullett arena for next season. AHL schedule needed by May 31st so those negotiations will happen ASAP.
