This “class picture” is perfect. I haven’t had a class picture in 6 years! Being campus support staff has its rewards, but getting this pic just made my year! I LOVE my GT babies. So glad I got to have a piece of them with me during this time. Thank you Bryant Elementary and PTA!

Working on a Bitmoji presentation for the 3rd grade team Bryant Elementary. All of the pictures are linked to other slides, making info more accessible for families! I’m loving all the new ideas for tech integration! Arlington ISD Arlingtech AISD ProfLearning

Purposeful reflection is so important for those of us in education. It’s how we learn, grow, and develop even when it’s hard. Every day, be thankful for what went well, acknowledge what didn’t, and consider how both have changed your perspective. #education #ameaningfulmess

Just because a #gifted learner understands a concept well enough to teach it doesn’t mean that it should be their responsibility. Every learner deserves to experience NEW learning every single day! #gtchat

Day 2 of #giftED22: I’ve added some new GT hero’s to my roster. Brian Housand and Andi McNair #ameaningfulmess gave a compelling session on #giftedkidburnout, and I got some amazing experiences that I can do with my kiddos in my classroom with Curtis Needs a Ride! Great day of laughter and learning!

This month has been amazing with my GT students! Instead of doing Hour of Code, we did a MONTH of code! We have been learning to code using Osmo and Sphero! They are learning to work together to overcome challenges and improve their coding skills.
