Thank you for visiting our school earlier this week. We all enjoyed an assembly with you and all benefited from wonderful workshop from you. Thank you for your visit in particular to Y5, we loved writing our own poems with your support, creativity and encouragement. Debra Bertulis 🤩
We have been looking for autumn changes today in reception. The children collected some leaves 🍁 that had changed colour and we read the text ’The Leaf Man.’ This inspired the children to create their own leaf 🍂 pictures. #Understandingtheworld
Reception class baked cookies for their buddies today and were so excited to take them to Year Six!
They also made jam and lemon curd sandwiches 🥪 it’s been a busy day 👍⭐️ #specialtimeswithbuddies

Today we have been making a number wand by drawing around our hands and decorating them! We enjoyed Cosmic yoga and went outside to develop our gross muscles and spatial awareness. #stggetsactive
Reception are learning how to be independent outdoors in the mud kitchen. They loved the sand pit today as we put new sand in. Our star bakers ⭐️baked jam and lemon tarts and after a vote for next week’s bake it was decided that cakes are on the menu! #physicaldevelopment

An amazing Teddy Bears Adventure was had by our Reception class today. They learnt all about SWAF, made some smelly tea and used their senses in the woods! #teddybearspicnic
Reception have been reading a story about Refugees this week and learning about they feel moving from their homes. We also learnt that there are famous people who had to move away too. #RefugeeWeek2023
A good start back to the summer term in reception class. The children have been interested in volcanoes, shopping, the mud kitchen and storytelling this week. We have been focusing on friendships too! #friendships
