I am finally coming up for air after a rough couple weeks only to see so many talented and dedicated colleagues losing their jobs at the LA Times. This might be one of the most important things I'll ever say on this platform.

My entire timeline is people of color getting laid off from the LA Times.

De Los was the best thing to happen to journalism in LA, and they just got rid of everyone on that team. BE. FOR. REAL.

The L.A. Times closed the Washington Bureau in an election year and on the day of the New Hampshire primary.
