Sioux Falls had their warmest meteorological winter on record. Their average temperature from Dec. 1 through Feb. 29 was 29.3 degrees...that's 0.6 degrees ahead of second (1930-31: 28.7 deg.). Aberdeen was second all-time at 25.7 degrees.
