In 1981 my dad Keith, then manager of Gillingham FC, signed 19 year old Tony Cascarino from non-league Crockenhill launching his career.

Gillingham gave Crockenhill a set of 12 tracksuits as a gesture of thanks.

So saddened to hear of the death of Stan Bowles.

A true QPR FC legend and entertainer. A special footballer! And a humble guy who always took time for a chat in my playing days there.
