The early morning vehicle crash at Gaston and Airline was fatal and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. A woman in her mid 50's was killed while trying to cross Gaston shortly after 7 am this morning.

We are looking for the black vehicle that pulls up to the light before the crash. The driver hit two pedestrians, killing one. It will have recent front-end damage. If you were in the area and witnessed the incident, don't hesitate to get in touch with GPD at 704-866-6702.
