This year's world Mental Health Day is on Fri. 10th Oct. It’s a reminder of the importance of good mental health and the need to prioritise and invest in good mental health. It is an opportunity for us all to consider how, together, we can help everyone have better mental health.

Our Drama students put on a fantastic performance in 'The Wizard of Oz' last night. The audience showed their appreciation with rapturous applause and heartfelt congratulations to all the cast. We hope everyone who is going to tonight's performance enjoys it as much!

Bucks SEN team are running a Teen Life course from 9th Feb at Beaconsfield High school. A series of 6 sessions for parents & carers of autistic students, focused on understanding autistic identity and how to support their young person. email [email protected] for more info

GMS are holding an inter-house indoor rowing league that will run from Mon 2nd Feb, with relay races at Break 2 on Tues–Thurs. Students should form teams of 4 with their form tutor. The focus is a fun, energetic introduction to rowing, leading to play-offs between top house crews

FoGMS Quiz Night takes place on Fri 6th Feb. Teams of up to 10 can compete for a cash prize and Best Team Name, with smaller groups welcome. The quiz will be hosted by GMS parent Robbie Wratten, with Indian street food available from Bombay-ish. Bring friends for a fun evening.

👏 Congratulations to GMS student Lara Martin who won a gold medal🥇 in the National Kickboxing Championships this weekend. This makes her the current British Champion and she qualifies for the World Championships in Dubai later in the year. Well done Lara.
