What a delight to celebrate with the 70th anniversary of the town twinning Edinburgh & Munich together with a special concert “Songs of Two Cities”! It was fantastic to see so many friends and partners enjoying the wonderful music, and having a delegation from Munich present.

Good news about German this year – after years of decline, the rise in A level & GCSE numbers in German is encouraging. Impressively, 10.4% got a grade 9 in German GCSE! With our partners of the "Making The Case For German" initiative, we aim to ensure this trend continues.
