No. What you're seeing is a fundamental disagreement between people attempting to justify racist rioting and others who think spreading hate and making people (H/T BBC Radio 4 Today this morning) feel terror in their own homes is utterly wrong and wholly unjustifiable

NEW from Ipsos Scotland: Labour's favourability ratings have fallen in Scotland. Over half of the public think the Scottish Government is doing badly on key issues (NHS, living standards, economy). But fewer now than in March think a Labour Scottish Government would do better.
The govt's immigration white paper promises tighter restrictions on intl students, but Ipsos in the UK data shows they are more welcomed than other groups. 2 in 3 think overall immigration to Britain is too high, but only 37% feel this way about students. bit.ly/4mddMO5
