A cost-of-attack over 100 percent makes Saito the only consensus mechanism where collusion is not incentivized. The free market will eat everything else.

@RobinBrooksIIF crypto networks are non-excludable commons that incentivize their own provision @RobinBrooksIIF. your frame of reference should be public choice theory. before 2008 we couldn't have commons w/o privatization - adding trusted-third party who could tax/monetize network effects

$Saito is a commodity blockchain, and that defends it from a very real social vulnerability. Give this a read - it isn't long. mukdde.substack.com/p/a-monetary-bโ€ฆ

Good thread on why Saito is important - even the scaling solutions become convoluted and hand wired when the basic incentives are not aligned.

Muk ๐ŸŸฅ (@mukkingabout) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Ethereum will never be *the* money. Bitcoin requires government blessing and social acceotance to be *the* money. Saito doesn't need to act as money to be valuable.

Tucho ๐ŸŸฅ This took me a while to think through at first, but it is true. Real Web3 and open source go together like steak and wine. It's hard to get people to realize how important Saito is - even just as inspiration for what is possible.

Muk ๐ŸŸฅ (@mukkingabout) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Selfish mining is the elephant in the room for crypto currencies. It makes Bitcoin potentially compromised today in similar ways that a PoS chain might be exploited. That's why nobody wants to talk about it. Biggest technical threat to PoW imo. You guessed it - $Saito solves it.

Timestamping is one of the least sexy, most important capabilities of blockchain. Most chains can twirl their spear, but only Saito can throw it straight - that is, most blockchains are unsuitable for the most basic of scale required for timestamps. mukdde.substack.com/p/if-deepfakesโ€ฆ

Open invitation to $Saito-zens and #crypto: If you have any questions about what Saito does, how it works, or why it is important, comment below and I will do my best to explain it as accessibly as possible without trivializing anything.

NNova | DeFi Muk ๐ŸŸฅ Paying nodes to collect fees means that users (who pay fees), by choosing which node to route their transactions through, can choose nodes which provide services they want (e.g. create dapps, serve higher bandwidth) PoR > PoW/PoS because itโ€™s more secure & pays for network infra

How economic innovation is solving "unsolvable problems" in the blockchain industry. Saito is solving the 51% attack vector at the consensus level. Bankrupting Malicious Players. Here is how. โ†“

$Saito is authentically more efficient than the free market, while being more secure and more censorship resistant than $Btc.

Muk ๐ŸŸฅ (@mukkingabout) 's Twitter Profile Photo

jack None of these scale past their volunteer layer. None of these self-fund WITHOUT CLOSURE and therefore do not scale without compromise. You need an open and universal medium where the money paid to use the service pays directly for it to remain open and universal.

You can choose any arbitrary measure of "work" to secure your blockchain. $Saito is the only one that chooses NETWORKING EFFICIENCY as the work function for a DISTRIBUTED NETWORK. In some sense, it couldn't any more obvious. #crypto
